pumps supplied with HEAT hot oil heaters and heat transfer systems
usually make use of a mechanical seal. Over time due to pressure,
exposure to temperature and exposure to outside influences this
seal will eventually fail. Our service department has experience
identifying the parts needed to repair pumps. HEAT Parts department
stocks replacement seal kits for all of our standard pumps and can
help you to identify and source the parts required on any non-stock
pumps. Standard pump seal repair kits are normally available for
next day delivery. However, special pump parts can take several
weeks for delivery.
If your process cannot afford
to be shut down for several days, while you wait for replacement
pump parts, then we strongly recommend that you stock pump repair
kits to avoid this potential down time.
If you maintenance department
is not properly trained in this type of pump repair and your process
cannot afford to be shut down for several days or weeks, while you

you stock an entire spare pump to avoid this potential down time.
