FACTORY ACCEPTANCE TESTS

SAFETY is at the core of HEAT’s design philosophy. HEAT does not compromise on the safety and well-being of our customers as we design and fabricate systems to these codes and standards, and we believe our customers should not be exposed to additional liability that comes with installing a hot oil system that does not meet the requirements of the fluid manufacturer or insurance company.

Central to our approach of safety in temperature control systems is the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) we perform for every system before it leaves our factory doors. During the FAT, the unit is run at operational temperature—using the same fluid as your process to avoid contamination risks— and tested to make sure all the system’s components are functioning as intended. As a valued customer, you are invited to witness this FAT and get to know your equipment before it arrives at your facility, and we are happy to give operational and safety training for equipment use.

HEAT has recently invested in technology to comprehensively present these FATs virtually—allowing you and your whole team to conveniently witness this test live from your facility, office, or anywhere you have access to a computer. We also have the capability to record these tests and to send you the recording for your reference or for watching back later at your convenience.

HEAT builds systems that when properly maintained can perform reliably for decades. Know that when you purchase a temperature control solution from us, we’ve put it to the test.
